ZAKA Volunteers Arrive in BulgariaJuly 19, 2012 7:00AM ZAKA’S international delegation landed on a private plane at midnight in Burgas, Bulgaria, and immediately left to the scene. Bodies of the victims were still on the bus and the area. ZAKA volunteers immediately went into the holy task of collecting the bodies and remains. In the early morning they received a call that another Israeli died in hospital from her wounds. Zaka set out on a private flight from Burgas to Sofia to bring the body of the deceased. Mati Goldstein, Zaka’s international commander said in a statement, "This is a very difficult situation, we are dealing with corpses and gathering religious findings, we asked the ZAKA headquarters for another team of reinforcements who are going out tonight as there's a lot of work for ZAKA, the local Chabad emissary together with the embassy staff did a good preparation and there is full cooperation with the Bulgarian police. We are working to bring all bodies to Israel as soon as possible ". We must call on your help and put our faith in your donations, as we sent the team to Bulgaria even though we do not have the money to pay for it. |
